How can Foremost Online benefit me?
Speed, time, convenience and saving money are the initial benefits to using our service. Forgotten to pay a bill abroad! - visit our online trading system and make the payment instantly. Foremost Online is part of The Foremost Currency Group and as a result is able to offer a much better rate of exchange than High Street banks or most other institutions. We are able to do this by virtue of the fact that we purchase large quantities of foreign currency daily and obtain large quantity rates of exchange from our banks and brokers, we keep strict control of our overheads and as a result are able to pass the benefit on to you, our clients.

Are there any costs or commissions?
No. FCG does not levy any fees or commissions for the purchase or sale of foreign currency. However, we do make a standard charge of £10 for the onward priority telegraphic transfer of funds. We do advise the purchase of a P.O.P (Proof Of Payment) at the cost of £10 - Please refer to the question below How do we know when funds have been sent?

How much can I exchange?
You can exchange any amount between £500 to £10,000 on any given day. If you would like to exchange more then you will need to call into our trading desk to facilitate this.

How do we know when funds have been sent?
You can be provided with a Proof of Payment (POP), a recognised banking receipt produced by Barclays Bank which is released by our payments division once funds have been sent. This document is your confirmation of the following:

Firstly - how much has been sent.
Secondly - where it has been sent to.
Thirdly - the date and time the funds were sent.

How does it actually work?
Initially you need to set up a trading account, this is a free service and does not commit or obligate you, it simply provides you with the facility to receive live quotes online from the markets. When you are happy with what is being quoted you can proceed with securing your currency at the agreed level. Confirmation is provided for you in the form of a Contract Note which would be sent via email. As soon as cleared funds are received by FCG your chosen currency will be sent to the onward destination of your choice.

Can I use the system for holiday money?
Provided that you have a currency account absolutely! The rates we offer are far better than those available for tourists. All payments are sent via recognised banking systems - we do not send or receive cash.
